Vans' 8-bit inspired Nintendo collection will be available in the United States on June 3, and at international retailers "throughout the month."
And it's not only Nintendo shoes—Vans is releasing clothes, bags, backpacks, socks, and hats, too. For footwear, the Vans x Nintendo line is offering plenty of different options in a variety of styles. Its original lace-up low-tops feature two Super Mario Bros.–inspired prints, a Duck Hunt colorway, and a Donkey Kong option.
Legend of Zelda fans will find their favorites in the Vans slip-on collection, with two options there. Finally, the lace-up high-tops are just generally NES-inspired.
The accessories part of the Vans x Nintendo collection all tie into the shoe line with similar prints and patterns. Sneaker options are also available for youth and toddler–sized feet.
The full line is available through the Vans website. You'll want to act fast when the collection goes live; we have a feeling these will be very popular.
This isn't the first time a video game franchise has teamed up with a fashion brand. Back in December, Nintendo partnered with Italian fashion house Moschino on its Super Moschino project, which was intended as a celebration of 30 years of Mario.
