A brand-new entry in the Harvest Moon franchise is on the way, as Natsume has announced Harvest Moon: Skytree Village for Nintendo 3DS.
According to Gematsu, the game will be set in a land called "Oasis of the Harvest Goddess" where players will be tasked with reviving the seven Skytrees in order to restore the once lush and green land of Skytree Village and give the Harvest Goddess her power back.
Harvest Moon: Skytree Village will feature both new and returning characters, as well as a new visual style, new fishing mechanics and an intuitive tutorial system. Like prior entries in the series, players will be able to select their character's gender, start a family and customize their farmland.
While a release date has yet to be announced, Natsume confirmed the game will be playable in just a couple weeks at E3. For an overview of what's coming to this year's gaming expo, check out IGN's updating list of confirmed games for E3 2016.
