How to Become a Vampire (Or Cure Vampirism) In Skyrim


This page details Vampirism in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

You'll need to come in contact with another vampire. Each hit by a vampiric enemy has a chance of passing the Sanguinare Vampiris disease onto you.

You can find vampires in Haemar's Shame, a cave to the southwest of Ivarstead. If you want to contract Vampirism, go there and let the vampires attack you. Or simply purchase or aquire Vampire Salts and ingest them as you would any food item.

The effects of the disease do not take hold immediately, as the transformation is gradual if left unattended. In the previous game, it took three in-game days to consummate the conversion to vampirism, after which the player assumes all the perks and downsides of being a vampire.

Vampirism is the belief in the existence of vampires such that it may manifest the characteristics of vampires in people.

Vampirism makes a return to Skyrim. As was the case in the previous game, Oblivion, the player has a chance of contracting a disease called Sanguinare Vampiris. The initial disease can be cured normally, but if left unchecked for three nights, the diseased will become a vampire.

Full vampirism is difficult to cure and made up of four distinct stages.  The disease progresses every 24 hours a vampire goes without feeding on a sleeping NPC. Feeding always returns you to stage one.

These are the four stages to vampirism. The effects of the debuffs are amplified with each stage advancement.

  • Increased Resist Frost by 75%
  • Attributes reduced by 45 points in the sunlight.
  • Weakness to Fire 75%
  • Stronger versions of existing abilities
  • Disadvtange: Most NPC's will not interact with you

(Note: With the addition of the Dawnguard DLC, you will no longer be treated with hostility. Consequently, taking the form of a Vampire Lord will make the citizens hostile.)

Stealth-type characters profit the most from the bonuses of vampirism, but the disadvantages are rather inconvenient for other character archetypes.

Once afflicted with Vampirism, you will slowly progress through the four stages, eventually becoming "blood-starved." At this stage in the disease, most people will not talk with you and will instead attack you.

In order to regress to earlier stages of vampirism, you will need to feed. You can feed only on sleeping humans, which you can find in most towns. Sneak into their homes, creep up behind them while they sleep and, while crouching, the option to "Pickpocket" should appear. Choose to pickpocket and you will further be given the option to "Pickpocket" or "Feed." Choose to feed and the deed will be done without disturbing the sleeping target.

If you rid the disease early on before the onset of symptoms, then a simple Cure Disease will do the trick or going to temples in towns and using the altar. At later stages, however, it is still possible to cure yourself by resorting to Lycanthropy or doing the quest Rising at Dawn. However, becoming a lycanthrope is permanent unless you progress through the companions and it has its own costs and benefits.

Best Comic Series of 2016 Nominees

This series races right out of the gate, focusing on fleshing out its strong cast rather than becoming fixated on the background and history of the universe. The gloomy art style further establishes this as a very different breed of superhero book."

From IGN's Review: "Marvel has launched several Black Widow solo comics in the years since the character made her cinematic debut, but none have exactly lit the market on fire. This time around, Marvel has turned to the creative team that elevated Daredevil to new heights in the Marvel NOW era - writer Mark Waid, artist Chris Samnee and colorist Matthew Wilson. That lineup may not necessarily guarantee record sales, but it certainly results in an excellent reading experience."

Rick Remender and Wes Craig waste no time in detailing their new normal after dealing the cast of Deadly Class a destructive blow that shattered the status quo. As the freshman newly enrolled struggle to find their place, those who survived the last semester work to further their own agendas. Remender does a nice job of firmly establishing his new entrants through the use of dialogue and situation, again using music as their defining arbiter. Of course, investment is easy with Craig at the helm, his new leads at once stylish and memorable. The artist’s ever-expressive energy and fantastic layouts remain a defining characteristic of this stellar series.

From IGN's Review: "Weird is good, but that would only carry the series so far if there were no heart to go along with it. But writer Gerard Way has a history working with unusual, psychologically damaged character, and that experience serves him well here. Familiar faces like Niles Caulder and Robotman are downplayed in favor of two EMTs named Sam and Casey. Though both are productive members of society, these two fit the mold as far as being social outcasts struggling to find their place. Casey especially proves to be a memorable protagonist thanks to her unflinching, almost aggressive sense of optimism. She's the perfect everywoman sort of protagonist, especially given her ability to roll with the punches and accept the heightened reality of this world at face value."

From IGN's Review: "The Mighty Thor remains one of Marvel's top new reads, again bolstered by the stellar creative team of Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman. Aaron's top notch development is further heightened by Dauterman's equally effective visuals, the two combining for a character driven read that sets up even bigger things to come. "

From IGN's Review: "Monstress is what happens when two great creators combine for an equally great product. It's confident and complex, bolstered by a compelling narrative and wondrous visuals."

From IGN's Review: "Saga hits the heartstrings yet again as a long time lead pays the ultimate price. Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples combine complex development with forward progression, resulting in a strong, visually arresting chapter with wide reaching repurcussions. As both a family tale and an otherworldly adventure, this book is still firing on all cylinders. "

Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Gleason delivered an incredible first arc to their Superman run with the battle against The Eradicator and followed it up with a simple visit to the county fair. The choice wound up being a clear indicator that the creative duo were the perfect choice to usher in the character’s Rebirth. It feels like a classic Golden Age tale with Clark using his powers in secret while maintaining his disguise as a simple man out at the fair with his family, just one instance of how this series captures the purity of Superman’s character while delivering dynamic and challenging stories. The Man of Steel has come back home.

Vision concluded this year by coming full circle and offering one last, emotionally devastating glimpse of the Vision family in the aftermath of their recent tragedies. For a group of characters that mostly didn't exist a year ago, writer Tom King sure knows how to tug at the heartstrings and make the reader feel for their plight. But it's not all doom and gloom. If anything, King wraps the series on an optimistic note, proving the life moves on in suburbia, even for a grieving family of synthezoids. Whether the tone is grim or uplifting, artist Gabriel Hernandez Walta and colorist Jordie Bellaire create a pitch-perfect rendition of King's script.

The Wicked + The Divine is nothing if not unconventional, yet it continues to step out of the box. This is no breezy read, but rather a thoughtful and well constructed piece of art, setting up unsettling and intriguing storylines that pay off due to the continued confidence and vision of its team.

 The Witness is a game brimming with secrets: daunting and multilayered mysteries that sunk into my subconscious, tracing snaking paths across my brain until I was literally seeing mazes every time I closed my eyes. That’s the kind of power The Witness has. It hooked me in with its masterful puzzle design and gorgeous visuals, then compelled me forward as I began to carve out my own purpose on the island. It’s a freedom granted by a world as welcomingly open to exploration as it is enjoyably challenging to solve.

The Witness is a fully 3D world navigated in first person, but revolves around solving two-dimensional mazes found on in-game panels, completed by drawing the correct path from a circular start point to a rounded end point. This simple, intuitive core concept burns at the center of the 700 or so puzzles you’ll find on The Witness’s enigmatic island setting. Tracing lines feels as smooth as cutting butter with both a mouse and a gamepad and is accompanied by a warm, electric buzzing effect. The pure tactile joy of communicating with these interfaces and the initial sense of wonder and mystery their very presence brings were enough to motivate me in the earliest moments of The Witness. But these light-up labyrinths quickly became more sophisticated, adding new rules and constraints to the basic maze-like structure and thus allowing for the real tough, yet fulfilling challenges to emerge.

Puzzles With a Purpose

Puzzles in The Witness are hard, but fair.

As I learned to apply each new rule, curiosity soon gave way to obsessive levels of motivation and purpose. I wasn’t just solving puzzles because they were fun – slowly but surely, they were beginning to make sense in a much larger context. This manifests most tangibly in The Witness’s first obvious, overarching “goal” – shooting beams of light into a mountain. The mountain serves as the island’s highest point, most prominent landmark, and consequently its most central mystery for reasons that are obvious once you start playing, but which I won’t spoil here.

Most of the major regions on the island house machinery capable of shooting light into the mountain, but can only be activated once you solve the right sequence of puzzles, bestowing my frantic line-drawing antics with an important sense of progress. It also helped me see the various regions of the island as distinct parts of a larger, cohesive whole, making the constant treks across the surprisingly large, dense land mass less daunting because of it. It let me set my own goals, trace my own path around the island, so I never had to feel lost, physically or in terms of my role on the island.

There was also enough to do and see beyond the key objectives that my time spent simply wandering still felt compelling minute to minute. I could take a peaceful boat ride around the perimeter, explore the ruins of a wrecked ship, finally make the descent into that hidden underground passage I’d discovered on a previous errand. I valued these quiet moments on the island as much as I did overcoming its most perplexing puzzles, especially during the times I felt truly stuck.

A New Perspective

Puzzles in The Witness are hard, but they’re always fair and solvable. In a manner more freeing than most puzzle adventures, you’re allowed and even encouraged to walk away from a problem you don’t feel equipped to solve. That’s a concept introduced in the opening minutes, when you encounter a locked door covered in symbols you’re unfamiliar with. The answers you need are further up the path, but you have to let yourself walk away first to know that. The Witness does more than equip you with the tools needed to find the right answers – it teaches you how to ask the right questions.

Expand this dynamic to the whole of the island, and you get an intelligently designed puzzle game that doesn’t just give you the freedom to chip away at its riddles at your own pace, but creates a compelling adventure of the learning process itself.

I always found seeking the answer just as satisfying as applying it.

The masterful design of The Witness’s puzzles is matched by the beautiful and clever layout of the island itself. One early sequence of puzzles unlocks a small courtyard full of sketches and diagrams of human hearts and veins. It didn’t seem of immediate significance when I found it, until I walked out to the neighboring cliffside I had passed by on my way there and noticed the way the red tree roots growing along the edges of the seaside bluff looked like bright, thick arteries coursing through the flesh of the earth. These startling and sometimes enlightening visual revelations were everywhere, adding excitement and meaning to the world even when I wasn’t actively seeking it out.

Sights become symbolic with the right context.

Every tree, every rock, feels like it has been placed with a purpose, allowing familiar sights to take on thematic weight when viewed from different angles. Ordinary landmarks became focal points when framed with precise deliberation between a grove of trees, or perfectly centered inside a hollow window frame. That’s kind of what The Witness is about: pointing you toward new ways of seeing.

Many times, finding the answer meant stepping away from the actual puzzle and asking myself what I wasn’t seeing. Puzzles in The Witness are solved on these panels, but it doesn't mean everything you need to solve them exists within their physical confines. No matter what question a particular puzzle posed, I always found seeking the answer just as satisfying as applying it.

Island of Enlightenment

A lot of games try to be about things, but The Witness actually embodies those things. Audio logs hidden around the island contain quotes from famous philosophers and scientists, chosen with obvious care for the way each speaks to specific concepts The Witness sets out to explore. The graceful design of the island had already managed to provoke natural epiphanies about ideas some of the quotes address, so at times the logs felt unnecessary. But then other times the words spoke to me, in the same way the physical island had: an invitation to see things from a new point of view that maybe I hadn’t considered.

Some of the most mind-blowing revelations were hidden in plain sight...

One particular quote at the top of the mountain comes from former astronaut Russell Schweickart. As I looked down at the island from its highest point, I felt a connection between what Schweickart was describing, when he spoke about the transformative effect of looking down at the Earth from space, and the all-encompassing view of the island the mountain afforded me. Like the Earth that Schweickart describes, spinning around the same way every day, revealing the same places with each rotation, nothing about the island ever really changes. I could walk by the same thing in The Witness ninety-nine times and never have a second thought, but then on the 100th passing, I'd notice something new about it. But not because the thing itself had changed – because I had.

Like everything else in The Witness, finding more concrete answers about this abandoned island and the people who once occupied it requires patience. There’s plenty there to dissect – statues that seem like people frozen from various eras, mysterious corporate logos, hidden audio logs – and it was all enough to keep me enthralled in the mysteries it built across my 40- to 50-hour playthrough. Most of the time it’s more questions than answers, and I enjoyed that it left things open to interpretation.

There’s also a lot you can miss – secrets tucked away behind the island’s most challenging obstacles – but some of the most mind-blowing revelations were hidden in plain sight, making every return to the island a new adventure. I estimate it would take 80 to 100 hours to fully do and see everything here, but there’s a satisfying amount of thematic weight and contextual clues that I was able to reach the ending the first time without feeling like The Witness owed me a greater answer to its riddles. Story doesn’t drive The Witness as much as its mystery, nor does it treat story as an arbitrary reward for your efforts; what’s there only enriches an already fulfilling experience.

The Verdict

The Witness has a power and pull that carried me throughout the more than 40 hours it took to complete it for the first time, and that, even now, beckons me back to confront the mysteries I left unsolved. Its graceful combination of tangible goals, obscurity, and freedom creates ample opportunity for small victories and grand revelations alike. For the most part, its themes weave themselves beautifully throughout the gorgeous world and wide variety of puzzles, but even when it breaks subtlety in favor of a more heavy-handed approach to exposition, it never detracts from the truly fulfilling moments The Witness offers in terms of solving its physical puzzles and unlocking its deepest mysteries.

GTA 5, Portal 2 Among First Steam Awards Winners

The winners of the 2016 Steam Awards have been announced.

Grand Theft Auto V, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Portal 2 were among the winning titles of the first ever Steam Awards. Valve's portal-focused puzzle game won "Villain Most in Need of a Hug," while Rockstar's open-world hit received both the "Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!" award and the "Game Within a Game" award.

Final Fantasy XV: How to Unlock Every Monster Bounty Hunt


Similar to Side Quests, Final Fantasy XV includes Bounty Hunts that are specialized missions where Noctis and his pals must track down and defeat specified creatures roaming the wilds of Eos. Unlike Side Quests, these Hunts are only found from "tipsters" who run various diners, restaurants, and eateries across the land. Only one Hunt can be active at a time - but the bounty can be turned in to any tipster.

Bounties are also classified by rank, as Noctis will start at rank 1, clearing bounties will earn stars that advance his rank and allow him to undertake more dangerous hunts - and unlock new ones as well. For more information on the various hunts, see the lists below classified by area and recommended level.

The following bounties are organized by the region in which the hunt is undertaken, and the recommended level they should be undertaken. Note that if you do not see a bounty in the indicated area, it may only be available upon reaching a certain rank.

These hunts can be found and started in Leide, the first area explorable in the game.

These hunts can be found and started in Duscae, the second area explorable in the game starting in Chapter 3.

These hunts can be found and started in Cleigne, the third area explorable on the Western border of Duscae in the game starting in Chapter 3.

These hunts can be found and started in Altissia, the fourth area explorable beyond the shores of Lucis, found after completing Chapter 8.

Beauty and the Beast: Here's a Bit of Emma Watson Singing


The song being performed is "Something There."

Disney has released a short preview of Emma Watson singing a classic Beauty and the Beast song from the upcoming live-action remake.

You can listen to Watson via a 30-second audio snippet on Twitter, where she performs “Something There.” Though brief, the clip does give a decent preview of just how different Watson's rendition of the song might be from the version sung by Paige O’Hara in the original 1991 animated film

Beauty and the Beast hits theaters March 17, 2017. While you wait for the film, check out why it’s one of IGN’s biggest upcoming movies of 2017.

Pokemon Sun and Moon's Weirdest Evolutions


Evolving Pokemon in Sun and Moon is no different from the many Pokemon games before it. Most of your Pokemon will evolve simply by leveling up, but some require special conditions to be met before they will evolve. Below are the new Pokemon in Sun and Moon with hidden evolution methods.

About Alola Form Pokemon: Pokemon like Pikachu and Cubone, who are standard form Pokemon with Alola Form evolutions, can only evolve into their Alolan Forms while in Pokemon Sun and Moon, even if transferred from a previous game. So if you want a standard form Raichu, it must be transferred from a previous game already evolved. Also, Alola Form Pokemon will only ever evolve into their Alola Form evolutions in Pokemon Sun and Moon.

Salandit will evolve into a Salazzle at Level 33... only if it's a female. Sorry, your male Salandit is destined to serve a female alpha Salazzle in a reverse harem. Seriously. 

Steenee

Tsareena

Steenee will learn the move Stomp at Level 29, a move it needs to know if you want it to evolve into Tsareena.

Fomantis will evolve into Lurantis at Level 34, but only if it's during the day.

Type: Null

Silvally

=>


Type: Null will evolve into Silvally as soon as you level it up once it's Happiness is maxed. Make your Pokemon happy by getting it massages, winning battles, a doing a variety of other actions.

Note: Affection obtained from Pokemon Refresh is not the same as the hidden stat Happiness.

Yungoos will evolve into Gumshoos at Level 20, only during the daytime.

This one's a little tricky. There's a big rock outside of Vast Poni Canyon entrance, on Ancient Poni Path, on Poni Island. Bring your Charjabug there and level it up for it to evolve into Vikavolt. This would be easiest with a Rare Candy.

Level up Crabrawler in the snow on Mount Lanakina to get Crabominable. 

This one depends on which game you have. At Level 25, Rockruff will evolve into Lycanroc Midday Form only during the day in Pokemon Sun, and Lycanroc Midnight Form only at night in Pokemon Moon.

Alolan Rattata will evolve at Level 20 into Alolan Raticate only at night.

Pichu will only evolve once its Happiness is maxed out. Once you've accomplished this by winning battles, giving it vitamins, etc., it will evolve into Pikachu when it levels up.

Note: Affection obtained from Pokemon Refresh is not the same as the hidden stat Happiness.

In Alola, Pikachu will always, and only, evolve into the Alola Form Raichu. The method is the same as in other regions: Give Pikachu a Thunder Stone. Though Alolan Raichu will automatically learn some Psychic-type moves when it evolves, it won't learn any other moves after that. So make sure your Pikachu has learned an adequate amount of moves before evolving it.

The Ice-type Alolan Sandshrew will evolve into Alolan Sandslash with an Ice Stone. Like many Pokemon that evolve with the use of a stone, Alolan Sandslash won't learn any more moves once it's evolved.

Evolve Alolan Vulpix into Alolan Ninetales with an Ice Stone. Again, like many Pokemon that evolve with the use of a stone, Alolan Ninetales won't learn any more moves once it's evolved.

Alolan Meowth will evolve into Alolan Persian when its Happiness is maxed. Once its happiness is maxed out and it levels up, Meowth will evolve into Alolan Persian.

Note: Affection obtained from Pokemon Refresh is not the same as the hidden stat Happiness.

Alolan Graveler evolves just like its standard form did before it. Trade it for it to evolve into an Alolan Golem.

Exeggcute evolves just like it always has: Give it a Leaf Stone for it to evolve into Alolan Exeggutor

Cubone will evolve into Alolan Marowak at Level 28 only at night.

Munchlax will evolve into Snorlax once it reaches max Happiness and levels up.

You have to give Happiny an Oval Stone then level it up during the day before it will evolve into Chansey.

If you want a Blissey, raise Chansey's Happiness to max and level it up.

Note: Affection obtained from Pokemon Refresh is not the same as the hidden statHappiness Happiness.

Sneasel will evolve into Weavile if it's leveled up at night while holding a Razor Claw. Jangmo-o and Hakamo-o both have a 5% chance of holding a Razor Claw, but it's final evolution that only appears during S.O.S. Battles has a full 50% chance of holding one. Use a Pokemon with Thief to avoid having to catch dozens of Pokemon.

Eevee is a special Pokemon that can evolve into eight different Pokemon depending on what method you use to evolve it!

Titanfall 2 Pilot Helmet Locations


Pilot Helmets are the Titanfall 2 collectibles. This is a complete guide to every Pilot Helmet location in the Titanfall 2 campaign. For a more contextual look at where each collectible is in every level, be sure to check out the Walkthrough.

There are 46 Pilot Helmets hidden throughout Titanfall 2's campaign. Here is a video showing the location of all 46 followed by a text guide with accompanying pictures.

There's only one Pilot Helmet in this mission.

1. You’ll find the Pilot Helmet while you’re running through the Pilot Evaluation. Just before you reach the finish line, jump left to the floating pillars. To the left of those pillars are two more that are slightly higher. You’ll see the Pilot Helmet on the shorter of the two. Double jump over to them and you can collect the helmet.

 

There are two Pilot Helmets in this mission.

1. You’ll find this Pilot Helmet easily while you follow the waypoint for BT’s replacement battery. Shortly after leaving BT you’ll see an empty escape pod and two creatures. The helmet is next to the escape pod.

2. After you grab the third battery for BT, exit the ship. One you’re back outside you’ll see the second Pilot Helmet on rubble hanging off a cliff. Run high along the wall on the right and double jump to get to the helmet.

 

There are six Pilot Helmets in Blood and Rust.

1. You’ll see the first Pilot Helmet in this level just after BT picks up his new weapon. The helmet is behind a gate, but you can get it by walking under and just past the pipes that lead into the gated area. Then, turn around and look up at the red lights where the pipes go past the gate. Exit BT close to the pipes (you must be on the far side of the pipes) and jump as soon as you’re out. You should be able to grab onto the pipe and enter the gated area to grab the Pilot Helmet.

   

2. After you have to leave BT, climb up the stairs and take out any enemies. Then go up to the platform, run along the wall and climb up to the double pipes above the red light. Turn around back toward the entrance. The Pilot Helmet you’re looking for is on top of the second huge cylindrical container. Run along the wall and jump to it.

 

3. Once you climb through the pipes to first find the friendly forces in the facility, look toward the left before jumping over to them. You’ll see the helmet up on another platform. Jump over to the pipe on the left, and use your wall run and double jump to get up to the helmet.

 

4.This next one is a little tricky to get and could take a few tries if you don’t get the jump right. After helping out your surviving allies, you’ll jump over the corrosive river and end up on the side where the enemies were shooting at you behind a few trucks. Go through the big doors, and immediately look to the left. You’ll see a chemical pool and broken pipes with the helmet in the very back. Run along the left side of this little room till you’re at the shore of the chemical pool. Then, run along the wall and jump up to the pipes just as you start to drop. You should catch the pipe and be able to get the Pilot Helmet.

   

5. Eventually you’ll come to a tall room where two flying robots are making repairs, and there are some large yellow pipes on the left side of the room. This is Inlet 13, and you’ll find your next Pilot Helmet here. Look up, and you’ll see the helmet high up on a bridge. You know what to do. Climb up the pipes on the left and then jump on the next smaller yellow pipes. Run along them, jump and run along the wall once the pipes turn, and you should be able to grab onto the bigger grey pipe in the center then bounce off to get to the bridge with the Pilot Helmet.

   

6. The final Pilot Helmet is in the room you enter after getting the previous helmet. Look up at the exit to this tall room, and you’ll see the Pilot Helmet on the platform next to the way out. Climb all the way up, but instead of landing next to the working robot, use your double jump to jump over the robot and onto the sludge waterfall platform with the helmet.

 

The Into the Abyss Pilot Helmet locations are broken up into three parts. In the first part you'll find four helmets.

1. After you drop down into the first big open area, go right and you’ll see a little cave on its own. It's near the big opening that lets natural light in. Jump out of BT and you’ll find the first Pilot Helmet there.

 

2. In the same area, walk to the left side and you’ll see a huge crack in the rock that leads to another big area. Jump out of BT to get through the crack, and jump onto the platform just across the gap. You’ll see a smoking escape pod. You’ll then need to run to the right to the other ledge, and you’ll find the Pilot Helmet on that platform’s ledge overlooking the water.

 

3. Once you’ve entered the room with the trees, couches, and cars being carted around on the hanging tracks, clear out the enemies and walk all the way to the back cliff wall where you turn the corner to move on to the next area. Instead of going down that hall, though, jump out of BT and onto the stone wall and up onto the pipes. Follow them along the cliff and you’ll reach the Pilot Helmet. Be careful not to fall!

   

4. The next Pilot Helmet is under the landing pad. Jump out of BT, and instead of going to call the cargo lift, climb down on the rocks below the landing pad. Look down to the landing pad’s pillars and you’ll see the helmet. Climb down to it on either side of the landing pad to grab it. There are lots of ledges to jump on, so platforming down to it should be fairly easy.

   

For some reason the nine collectibles in Into the Abyss are split into three sections. Here’s where you’ll find the next three after BT is carried away by the crane.

1. The first Pilot Helmet in this section is in the pipe room just after you get split up with BT. You’ll spot it pretty easily across a huge gap. To get to it you’ll want to get a running double jump across to the pillar in the middle, run along it, then jump over to the platform with the helmet.

 

2. Once you’re on the platform where the pallet is mostly built -- it has a frame, furniture, and grass -- you’ll jump off onto a rather large section that has a second floor. Climb up to the second floor or take the lift. The little enclosure where the lift lands is where you’ll find the Pilot Helmet. Look up, and you’ll see a set of pipes running along the ceiling. Use the short pile of crates to the right of the small hallway that lead to nowhere to get a little boost, wallrun for a very short time, and double jump up to the pipes. Walk along the pipes and you’ll be able to get to the Pilot Helmet.

   

3. After you climb your way out of the starting sideways house, wallrun to the left and land on the other sideways building. Peek over the side of the building and you’ll see the Pilot Helmet by a door on the rock wall. Jump across to the bridge then run along the rock wall to get the Pilot Helmet.

 

After you’ve escaped the dome you enter the final part of this mission. There are two Pilot Helmets to find in this area.

1. Exit the rocky tunnel and you’ll find yourself in a huge room with three different columns. Look up to column 83 and you’ll see the Pilot Helmet floating. Hit the green button to push out a bunch of containment pods. Use these to climb up to the Pilot Helmet.

 

2. Just before you meet up with BT you’ll have to cross a chasm by running along a moving wall. Do that, but instead of jumping into the arena, walk along the edge of the outside and you should see the Pilot Helmet. Climb the rocks along the edge of the dome and you’ll be able to get the helmet.

 

There are two Pilot Helmets in the first part of the mission, and they’re both in the same area.

1. Once you find BT in the building plaza, look down to building 02 (it’s marked with the 02) while you’re still at the window. You should see the Pilot Helmet floating along the side of the building. Climb up to building 02’s roof and drop down along the side to collect the helmet.

2. The next Pilot Helmet is next to BT on the top of a light poll. Climb to the roof of the next building and double jump over to the light pole to get the helmet.

 

After you make it to Anderson’s other half you’ll get a fresh assignment to collect six more Pilot Helmets.

1. In the fancy facility (past), you’ll find the first helmet in the elevator shaft. You should be able to get it while you’re climbing up the walls, or you can jump out to the Pilot Helmet once you get to a high enough platform.

 

2. You’ll come to a hallway in the present that has a fiery floor, but a Pilot Helmet floating at the end in the air. Wall run to it. If you miss, just keep wall running till you pick it up.

 

3. Before you get to the cryo storage facility you’ll be greeted by three turrets in the past. Go back to the present and jump into the hanging cylindrical platform. Flip back to the past and you can get the Pilot Helmet that’s on the platform.

 

4. When you reach the giant, open cryo storage room you’ll see the Pilot Helmet on a platform not too far away. Go to the past to jump on the first platform, then flip to the present to land on the platform with the Pilot Helmet.

 

5.You’ll see this Pilot Helmet toward the exit of the giant cryo storage room. It’s high up between two walls where you have to flip back and forth between the past and present to get across. Keep jumping back and forth till you can it. If you happen to die getting it, that’s okay too! You’ll still collect it even if you fall.

6.The final collectible is in the present just past the wall you have to jump across by flipping back and forth through time. Make sure you’re in the present then run along the window and jump to the Pilot Helmet. If you have the bridge open you should land on it after you jump to get the helmet.

 

This mission is split up into three parts, but the third part is just a return to the first area and doesn't reset your Pilot Helmet count. There are a total of 11 Pilot Helmets across the two. You can start the mission by grabbing two the following two helmets, or you can get them after you emerge from the substation.

1. After you save the stranded soldiers, don’t go into the facility with them just yet. Walk over to the satellite facility with BT, and climb up to the platform below the dish. You’ll find a Pilot Helmet on the back right side of the platform next to a pillar. You can also get this after you come out of the substation.

 

2. While still on the platform look to the back left building that has a cable coming off it. You’ll see another Pilot Helmet. Use the shorter pillars to platform over to the building’s roof and grab the helmet. You can also get this after you exit the substation.

 

The next two Pilot Helmets can only be found in the substation.

1. This first one is hard to miss. After you clear out the bots in substation 03’s server room, walk across the spinning beam to grab the Pilot Helmet

2. After you get the arc tool you’ll find yourself on top of another fan. Use the arc tool to turn it on, but instead of jumping out of the room, jump on the ledge on the opposite wall to get the next Pilot Helmet.

 

With the helmets in the substation collected you’ll go back to finding the other nine hidden throughout the facility. If you didn’t collect the first two before entering the substation do that now.

3. BT throws you, and you’ll land on the first of many work stations. This one, however, has a Pilot Helmet! Get out your arc tool and open the locked door on this station’s first floor. You’ll find the helmet here.

 

4. Move the first wall with the crane, then jump across to work station 02. The station across the bridge from it has the Pilot Helmet on its roof. Climb up the wall and grab it!

 

5. The next Pilot Helmet is on the big platform just before the dish with the two cranes. It’s easy to spot since it’s on the roof of the tallest building of the second platform in this area. Climb up to the roof to grab it.

 

6. When you first jump over to the structure that’s holding up the dish, you’ll meet a new wave of enemies that lock the bridge to the other side. Instead of wall running to the other side once they’re dead, jump up on the ledge above the door to get the Pilot Helmet.

 

7. The next Pilot Helmet is just above the 04 building that houses the satellite dish’s controls. Run across the work area and climb up to the roof above the 04 to grab the Pilot Helmet.

 

8. After BT throws you for the second time, walk to the left and you’ll see the Pilot Helmet on the corner of the staircase.

 

9. The last Pilot Helmet in this mission is in the base of the actual dish. Once you climb up to its support beams, walk around till you see the Pilot Helmet out on one of the beams. Its glow makes it easy to find. Walk out on the curved beam and grab it.

 

There are three Pilot Helmets in this mission.

1. Jump out of BT at the first ledge you see on your left after you enter the base with Commander Sarah Briggs. Walk between the two machines and you'll see the Pilot Helmet.

 

2. Before you get on the lift, follow the yellow cable on the ground that leads to a hole between two shipping containers. Crawl through it and follow the little crawl space to another room. You’ll find the Pilot Helmet here.

 

3. After the lift, walk up the road a bit and jump out of BT when it makes its first turn to the left. Instead, jump down to the tanks on the right. You'll see the Pilot Helmet on one of the tank's pipes.

 

There are three Pilot Helmets in this mission.

1. After you land on the transporter, run past the enemies (you can deal with them later) straight for the last deck that faces somewhat toward the ship. Out there is the first Pilot Helmet in a small inlet on the ship. Jump across to it. To be completely honest, the easiest way to get out of this area is to jump off and reload at the last checkpoint.

   

2. This helmet is actually pretty challenging, and you’ll likely fail a few times before you can get it. Once Briggs pull up to the side of the IMC Transport to help your team get to the main deck, you’ve gotta jump onto her ship and run into it before she closes the door. Just behind her is the Pilot Helmet. She’l wait to close the door till you jump back off the ship.

 

3. After you clear the main deck take the short set of stairs up to the main level of the jet. Don’t go up or down the bigger sets of stairs to the left. Walk all the way to the end row and you’ll see the Pilot Helmet next to the last aircraft.

 

There are three Pilot Helmets in this final mission.

1. Once you reach the long outside power grid area with the turrets positioned in the windows, you’re going to need to climb up to the roof of the A30 building, then to get to the top of the TMD Power Grid 10 unit. On the top of this unit on the left you’ll see the Pilot Helmet.

 

2. BT and Cooper will loose the Militia’s assistance once you make your way inside the facility. In this first big circular room you should see the Pilot Helmet directly in the center back on a pipe. Run to the back left corner and climb on the storage crates. Use those to wall run up to the second ledge on the back wall. Now you can walk over to the Pilot Helmet.

   

3. You’ll find the last Pilot Helmet in the blue schematics room. Walk to the back right corner of the room, then jump out of BT to climb up to the back wall. You’ll see the Pilot Helmet on the highest pipe.
