Bad Moms 2 Coming Next Year

The Christmas-themed sequel is coming next November.

The R-rated comedy Bad Moms is getting a sequel next year.

Actress Kristen Bell announced Bad Moms 2 on Twitter. "Get ready. It's about to get festive as a mother," she wrote. "A BAD MOMS CHRISTMAS coming for ya winter 2017!"

The accompanying video also indicated the sequel's Christmas setting.

Bell starred in Bad Moms with Milas Kunis, Jada Pinkett Smith, Christina Applegate and Kathryn Hahn. The comedy film was a big stealth success this past summer, bringing in almost $180 million worldwide on only a $20 million budget and making more in the US than far higher-budgeted films like Independence Day: Resurgence, Alice Through the Looking Glass and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
