How to Get Those Pesky Runes and Bonecharms in Dishonored 2

The Dishonored 2 walkthrough features all Rune and Bone Charm Locations, some of which are locked behind some tough puzzles. This guide places an emphasis on non-lethal and stealth gameplay.

You can play the game any way you wish (being lethal and killing opponents will tip the game into High-Chaos, while being merciful and non lethal will keep the game in Low Chaos). You are also able to choose between Emily or Corvo and use their abilities as you see fit.

For the purpose of this guide we will try to steer clear or recommending using one over the other - but players should seek to play the game with both characters to get the full story.

This walkthrough will also steer you towards any and all collectibles found in each mission - which include Runes, Bonecharms mentioned above, as well asBlueprints, and Paintings - and items worth stealing to increase the amount of coins you can have.

See the list of Missions below for more details, as well as any available collectibles.

  • You can find 1 extra Rune not tied to the mission totals outside of the Dreadful Wale before embarking upon a mission.*
  • Mission 7 has the potential to let you find extra runes and bonecharms depending on how you handle Aramis Stilton.
