Thief Actor Joins Ex-BioShock, Myst Devs' New Game

An "exploration into the dreams of a dying man."

Maine-based developer Eagre Games has announced voice actor Stephen Russell, voice of Garrett in Thief 2 and Nick Valentine in Fallout 4, will be joining its upcoming first-person adventure puzzle game ZED.

ZED, which is in the final days of a modest Kickstarter campaign, is described as an “exploration into the dreams of a dying man, who is battling dementia while trying to piece together his fading memories to leave behind one final gift to his granddaughter.” Players will explore the Dreamer’s imagination, where elements can change rapidly.

The team at Eagre Games includes artist Chuck Carter (Myst, the Command & Conquer franchise), Joe Fielder (one of the writers on BioShock: Infinite), and Pete Paquette (animator on BioShock: Infinite and the Ice Age series). ZED is being developed for Windows, Linux, and Mac, with the potential for consoles, and complete VR support.
