Transformers: The Last Knight Brings Back Tyrese

Sergeant Epps returns!

Tyrese Gibson has announced he's reprising his role as Sergeant Robert Epps in Transformers: The Last Knight.

The actor confirmed his involvement in a pair of posts on Instagram. See Gibson alongside director Michael Bay in the photo below.

And here's a short video during which the actor has a bit of fun with Bay.

Gibson appeared as Robert Epps in the first three Transformers films, but did not have a role in 2014's Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Transformers: The Last Knight opens in theaters on June 23, 2017 and marks the return of Decepticon leader Megatron. Gibson joins Mark Wahlberg's Cade Yeager, as well as Isabela Moner, Josh Duhamel and Anthony Hopkins. For more on The Last Knight, get a first look at the film's new autobot Squeaks.
