The fourth DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, dubbed Salvation, will release on September 6 for PlayStation 4, Activision has announced.
The downloadable add-on, which features four new multiplayer maps and the conclusion of the Origins Zombies adventure, will be available for Xbox One and PC at a later date that has yet to be revealed.
The Salvation pack includes Revelations, the final chapter in the Origins Zombies story, which finally brings Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai to The House where they encounter Doctor Monty.
In addition, Salvation features four new multiplayer maps, including an ancient castle called Citadel and a mini picnic table-set warzone called Micro. The remaining two maps offer fresh takes on Call of Duty classics, with Outlaw serving as a western-inspired reimagining of the Black Ops II map Standoff and Rupture taking the World at War classic Outskirts and giving it a futuristic twist.
See the full map descriptions for each below:
Citadel: "Once home to a powerful medieval army, this ancient castle now sits broken and abandoned. Tight corners force close-quarters engagements, while the moat and drawbridge allows for unique player movement opportunities in this mid-sized map. The last trespassers didn’t make it out alive – maybe you’ll have a better shot."
Micro: "What’s better than a BBQ on a hot summer day? A miniaturized war zone that takes place on a well-stocked family picnic table, that’s what! Navigate this bite-size battlefield for a larger-than-life experience."
Outlaw: "Gear up for a showdown in Outlaw; a western-style re-imagining of the fan favorite map Standoff from Call of Duty®: Black Ops II. This rough-and-tough medium-sized map brings classic engagements, flanking routes and strategic positions for long and medium ranged combat."
Rupture: "The Call of Duty: World at War classic Outskirts is re-imagined as a high-tech facility, designed by a futuristic society desperate to repair the Earth’s atmosphere."
Salvation is available for pre-order now and can be purchased as an individual pack for $15. Black Ops III Season Pass holders can pre-order the DLC at a discounted rate. Those who reserve the game for PS4 will get an exclusive Revelations dynamic theme.
