Grimm Ending With Season 6

A Grimm ending indeed.

NBC has announced the upcoming Season 6 of Grimm will be the last ever for the show.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the season will also be shorter, down to 13 episodes from the normal 22. It is due to premiere on January 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Grimm was receiving 6.4 million viewers when factoring in seven days of DVR during Season 5. Grimm entered this broadcast season as NBC's second longest running series, behind only Law & Order: SVU, although it is a long way behind Law & Order's 18 seasons.

The sixth season will apparently show the final battle between Nick and Capt. Renard.

Grimm celebrated its 100th episode earlier this year by letting a fan create a Wesen key to the story's plot.
