Sony has announced that its streaming service for PlayStation 3 games, PlayStation Now, is now available as an app on PC in the United States.
PS Now subscribers can head to the official PS Now page to download the app, which allows them to play hundreds of PS3 titles on PC, including many console exclusives like The Last of Us, Infamous, and more.
Additionally, six more titles have joined the PS Now lineup — Borderlands: Ultimate Edition, Heavy Rain (plus The Taxidermist DLC), Mafia II, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, and Tomb Raider Game of the Year Edition.
As part of the launch on PC, a limited 12-month subscription package is being offered for $99.99 in the U.S. and Canada.
PS Now came to PC in parts of Europe last week shortly after the announcement that the service would come to PC. A DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor was also announced earlier this month and is currently available for pre-order for $24.99 ahead of its planned release in early September.
PlayStation Now first launched in 2014 and is a streaming subscription service that allows players to stream hundreds of PS3 games to PlayStation systems, Sony Bravia TVs, and, now, PCs.
The service is periodically updated with new games to stream, and for what's currently available, check out the full list of streaming titles. Among the PS3 exclusives available for the service currently are the first three Uncharted games, God of War III, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, and more.
