Supergirl: Season 2 Poster Revealed

A new hero joins The CW.

In celebration of Supergirl's impending arrival on The CW, the network has released a stunning new poster for Season 2.

The poster was revealed on the official Supergirl Twitter account, and showcases a triumphant looking Melissa Benoist as Kara-Zor El.

Earlier this month, executive producer Greg Berlanti announced that Kevin Smith will direct an upcoming episode of Supergirl. In addition, Season 2 will feature the debut DC characters Miss Martian and Mon-El, as well as Superman, who will be played by Tyler Hoechlin.

Supergirl will make its debut on The CW when Season 2 premieres on Monday, October 10 at 8/7c. In the meantime, check out IGN's interviews (above and below) with the cast at San Diego Comic-Con to find out what's next for the series.
