Members of the Game of Thrones cast and director Miguel Sapochnik shared who they think could win the Iron Throne at the San Diego Comic-Con Game of Thrones panel.
You can read the responses from 10 of the panel members below, but be wary of light spoilers from previous seasons.
Miguel Sapochnik - "[I'd be] happy if they shared it, but I don’t think that’s going to happen."
Liam Cunningham (Sir Davos) - “The only hint that we have of this is George RR Martin said it would be bittersweet... I have an image of a white walker sitting on the throne with his leg over the arm sucking on a Cuban cigar, but what do i know?”
John Bradley (Sam Tarly) - “What if I’m right and it flashed back to this where John Bradley spoils it all.” And then as an alternate answer, John said out of loyalty, it'd be Jon Snow.
Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) - Daenyrs out of loyalty. “She’s a good girl,” but Nathalie is excited about the Starks coming back together.
Conleth Hill (Varys) - “I know but I can’t say.”
Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) - “I think I want Littlefinger on the throne...It’s be fun and quirky. Sadistic. We like that kind of thing.”
Iwan Rheon (Ramsey Bolton) - “Melt the thing down and have a democracy.”
Faye Marsay (The Waif) - “Arya because if I don’t say that, Masey’ll beat me with a stick.”
Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) - Isaac wants four people to rule, with Jon on the throne, Arya beating people up, Sansa advising, and Bran in the corner.
Kristain Narin (Hodor) - “ I don’t think the throne will be important by the end of the show... I think Westeros for once deserves someone with honor and integrity and I think Brienne would be good.”
Sophie Turner also shared her thoughts on why Sansa didn't tell Jon about her secret at the end of Season 6. Game of Thrones returns next summer with a shorter season than normal.
