From our Preview: In order to fully appreciate this preview, you have to be aware that I know nothing whatsoever about hacking. Aside from the handful of programs I need in order to get by in my daily life, I’m woefully ignorant of what goes on inside of my computer. But after spending 30 minutes at PAX East with Quadrilateral Cowboy, Brendon Chung’s hack-focused follow-up to the fantastic Thirty Flights of Loving, I felt like there was no code I couldn’t crack with my trusty laptop.

We Happy Few is the tale of a plucky bunch of moderately terrible people trying to escape from a lifetime of cheerful denial. Set in a drug-fuelled, retrofuturistic city in an alternative 1960s England, you’ll have to blend in with its other inhabitants, who don’t take kindly to people who don't abide by their not-so-normal rules.

From our Review of the PC Version: As a stylish rekindling of old-school action games, Hyper Light Drifter lets its basic combat mechanics, and heavily inferred story do all the talking, subduing you in a hypnotic trance of sound and color. While it excels in all of those beautiful, pixelated spaces, it also obscures too many pieces of its time-traveling story for this world of death and savagery to make sense.
