Sony has opened sign ups for the next PlayStation 4 system software beta.
Beta testers will get "an advance look at some of the improvements and features coming" to PlayStation 4, according to a post on the PlayStation blog. Registration will be open from today until the beta begins in early August—it'll close once the beta starts, so those interested will want to sign up early.
Sony ran beta periods for PlayStation 4's 3.00 and 3.50 system software updates, showcasing new features like events and communities. Details on what'll be included in the next PlayStation 4 system software beta haven't been revealed, but Sony expects to release more information in early August.
Those who sign up for the beta will receive an email with download instructions once the beta begins. To participate, users will need access to a PlayStation 4 system with an internet connection, along with access to a Master Account.
