Edmund McMillen Teases Another New Game

Expect "more thingy" at some point in the future.

Binding of Isaac designer Edmund McMillen has teased the existence of a new, untitled game, which he is working on with Closure developer Tyler Glaiel.

According to Eurogamer, the game will definitely be coming to PC and Mac, and consoles are a possibility. McMillen said it uses the same character from his game Time Fcuk, but it is not a sequel. So far, our main source of information is an unlisted YouTube video titled "more thingy."

"No name yet so we are just leaking out early teases for now, all I can say is I think most would describe it as a Mega Man / Isaac-like, but a platformer with really tight controls," McMillen told Eurogamer.

McMillen also announced The Legend of Bum-bo earlier this year, which will be developed alongside this new game. He currently isn't sure which of the games will see the light of day first.

There's also some new content coming for The Binding of Isaac, in the form of Afterbirth+, and two new items called Void and Smelter have been unveiled. Void destroys all items in the room, and gains the ability of an item it destroys. Smelter will destroy trinkets you're currently carrying, permanently applying their effects to your character.
