Marvel has confirmed the main cast for Spider-Man: Homecoming, though the roles these actors will be playing have yet to be revealed.
In addition to Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Marvel has confirmed the reports that Michael Keaton will star in Homecoming, as well as Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.
Concept art for the movie was also released following Marvel's San Diego Comic-Con panel, showcasing Spidey facing off with Vulture, the film's main villain.
Previous reports have suggested Keaton will play Vulture in the film, while earlier reports of Woodbine's casting said the Fargo star is also set to play a villain in the film. Marvel's post on the casting does not confirm roles of the newly announced castmembers, though. Reports of Harrier and Revolori's casting also suggested the two actors would be classmates of Peter Parker's
The Marvel panel also revealed that Brie Larson will play Captain Marvel, while also offering new details on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok, as well as a new trailer for Doctor Strange.
Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming opens in theaters on July 7, 2017.
