From our Review: It’s a great relief to say that Beyond is terrific, a fun and exciting entry in the series that balances subtle fan service while also feeling fresh and modern. And it somehow does so while also very much playing like an episode of the Original Series.

From our Review: We've seen an explosion of Batman '66-themed memorabilia ever since Warner Bros. and Fox finally worked out their decades-long rights dispute. Finally, fans can buy official versions of the old TV series on Blu-ray and decorate their shelves with Batman '66 action figures. But the best part of about Batman '66's resurgence is that we now get to see the Dynamic Duo continue their adventures in animated form. Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders captures much of what made the old series memorable, and throws in a healthy dose of self-aware humor to boot.

  • See it on Amazon for $20 (Blu-ray)

From our Review: Bad Moms is not always as funny as it ought to be, nor is it always able to hit the serious moments at which it aims. What it is able to do is be relatively funny for much of its runtime. It offers a great cast who—even if they're playing the baddies—are likable and it has a bunch of solid cameos as well. The uneven tone is a problem, but it's something that everyone on screen does their best to overcome.

  • See it on Amazon for $30 (Blu-ray)

From our Review: Everything about Outlander changed by the end of Season 2, which proved to be a very different type of season for the Starz series compared to Season 1. That was apparent both within the story and in the execution of the shorter, 13-episode installment of the Diana Gabaldon adaptation, as the bulk of the year was spent away from Outlander's core Scotland setting and ended with a twist that pushed the show in a new direction.
