Driveclub's Farewell Patch Adds 15 Tracks

"Thanks for your support."

The final, farewell patch for Driveclub brings 15 new tracks to the PlayStation 4 racing game.

According to Team VVV, the update is roughly 5.75 gigabytes and sees urban Driveclub VR courses coming to the original Driveclub. On top of that, there are now reverse variants for the following tracks:

  • Gujo in Japan
  • Ashii in India
  • Iquique in Chile
  • Port of Vancouver in Canada
  • Bryggen in Norway

The Driveclub patch also offers parting words for the community, saying: "Thanks for your support. Thanks for your commitment. Farewell and enjoy the game!"

Sony shut down Driveclub developer Evolution Studios earlier this year. And the PlayStation 4 racing game initially saw a rocky launch, especially in regard to the promised PlayStation Plus version, which didn't launch until 2014, months after the games' initial release.

Most recently, Sony released Driveclub VR. Be sure to check out IGN's review of Driveclub VR or take a look at the verdict for the original Driveclub.
