Every Move You Can Learn From Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's Masters

The following is IGN's guide for how Masters work in Xenoverse 2.

Getting a Master is going to be a major way you learn new moves and train. However, not every master will simply accept you. You need to be good enough and proven for them to think you're worth it by passing Advancement Tests at Orange Star High School.

Masters become available as you beat story missions.

The total training levels go as follows:

Easy — Intermediate — Advanced — Kai — God — Super

If you find that you can't progress to your Master's next mission, it's probably because you need to go up in an Advancement Test.
