MLB The Show 17 Announced

Ken Griffey Jr. presents ...

Sony has officially announced that MLB The Show 17 will release March 28, 2017 on PlayStation 4.

Unveiled on the PlayStation Blog, Ken Griffey Jr., a Hall of Fame outfielder, will serve as the cover athlete for this year's edition of the baseball game. It's the first time he's appeared on the box for MLB The Show, though he starred in a few Nintendo games back in the 1990s.

Sony San Diego Studio also revealed that Griffey will be a playable legend in MLB The Show 17.

There will be four editions of MLB The Show 17 available on launch day: Hall of Fame ($100), Digital Deluxe ($100), MVP ($70) and standard ($60). You can check out the differences with each version in the slideshow below.

MLB The Show 17 is only coming to PlayStation 4, meaning there isn't a PlayStation 3 version like last year. There also isn't a Vita version planned for release.
