A Real Wizarding School Is Opening in France

A real-life school of Witchcraft and Wizardry is opening next year at the Château de Jolibert in Bourgougnague, France.

According to a report by The Huffington Post, the school will be run by Harry Potter fan group Mimbulus Mimbletonia Association and feature an educational experience that spans a total four days. The event will take place from May 25 to May 28, providing classes, meals and three nights of housing for 100 participants who must be at least 16 years old.

The curriculum — inspired by the first novel in J.K. Rowling's beloved series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone — will be presented entirely in French. Over the course of the four days, attendees will not only learn about Charms, Potions, and Botany, they'll also take part in the iconic house sorting ceremony and learn to play Quidditch.
