Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in Avengers: Infinity War, according to Guardians actor Vin Diesel.
During a Facebook livestream (via ScreenRant), the actor who voices Groot in the MCU said "the Guardians will be included in Avengers: Infinity War," noting that it's "incredibly exciting" and "surreal," calling back to a photo of himself in front of an Avengers poster after a meeting with Marvel in 2013.
Marvel's The Avengers: Infinity War opens in theaters on May 4, 2018. Writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely just recently provided an update on how the script is coming along, confirming that new drafts for Infinity War and the untitled sequel are well underway.
Meanwhile, the film's directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, also informed us that Infinity War marks a new beginning for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
