During today's American Gods panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Starz debuted the first trailer for its upcoming series based on Neil Gaiman's beloved novel.
The trailer has since been posted on the official American Gods Twitter:

In addition to the trailer, Starz also announced that Kristin Chenoweth has joined the cast and will star as Easter, the goddess of spring. This isn't the first time Chenoweth has worked with showrunner Bryan Fuller, as the actress also starred in Fuller's comedy series Pushing Daisies.

In addition to Chenoweth, American Gods stars Gillian Anderson as Media, Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday and Ricky Whittle as Shadow Moon.
American Gods will debut on Starz sometime next year. Hannibal director David Slade will helm several episodes including the pilot.
