Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Will Have Open Beta, New Multiplayer Mode Announced

Punch stuff with your friends.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will have an open beta before its October 25 release, Bandai Namco announced today.

IGN can reveal that the upcoming beta, which is currently not dated, will allow players to experience Conton City, the game’s new hub, which is seven times larger than the last hub city. There players can discover quests, train and shop.

A new Expert Mission multiplayer mode is also coming to Xenoverse 2. The mode allows up to six players to fight together to tackle boss fights.

Bandai also promises that Xenoverse 2 will include twice the number of quests as the first Xenoverse, including some that are parallels of the quests in the original game. A new system controlling rare item drops is also coming to Xenoverse 2 to offer players the ability to hunt for their preferred accessories and costumes.

In addition to the beta announcement and new features coming to the game, Bandai Namco has revealed that Majin Vegeta will join the roster of Xenoverse 2. Take a look at the character, as well as other images from the game, below.

Xenoverse 2 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25. For more on the game, check out the new Transformations trailer.
