New Thor: Ragnarok Logo Design Shown Off

We Thor-t we already had one.

A new logo for Thor: Ragnarok seems to have been revealed - we just don't know exactly where it will be used.

President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige revealed the logo in a tweet paying tribute to the late Jack Kirby, calling the film "an unabashed love letter to his vision" - and nabbing a bit of that vision for the design, it seems:

The film has already had one updated logo design, revealed at last year's Comic-Con, which has been used in the film's trailers to date. This new version uses the same font, but a more intricate, subtle design.

It's not clear exactly where this version will be used - the quality of the image suggests Feige has taken a picture of a screen displaying the new version. Could this be from the film's next trailer, or the title sequence of the film itself? Then again, it may simply be that this treatment reconfigures itself into the yellow and blue version we've seen before, or vice versa. Mysteries!

Jack Kirby's birthday brought more than one Marvel surprise - we also got a first look at Evangeline Lilly in costume for Ant-Man and the Wasp.
