What's Coming up in the League of Legends Scene?

IGN’s tournament calendar for key Aussie events and the big international tournaments.

Welcome to IGN Australia's League of Legends tournament snapshot! The idea behind this doc is to give you a quick reference guide for the upcoming LoL events in Australia and a handy calendar for international tournaments you can't miss.

We'll be updating this regularly — we know OPL Split 2 begins after League of Origin, for example, but we're not sure exactly when. We want the community's help whenever possible, so if you're a player or an event organiser get in touch. If you’re a super fan and notice something is missing - or we have a placeholder time, let us know! You can reach me at esportsau@ign.com or you can just click here to send me an email.

Oh, and be sure to check out the rest of our esports hub, as we have similar schedules for a bunch of other top games. Cheers!

Split 2 is nearly over, and the Chiefs and Dire Wolves will face off to determine who will head to the Worlds 2017. It's going to be a doozy as two of the best teams in Australia clash. They've both had great splits so far, and the Dire Wolves represented well at the Mid-Season Invitational. The Chiefs had to battle their way through the gauntlet to reach this point, and they'll be looking to capitalise on that effort. It's all on the line - it's definitely worth watching.
