Luke Cage is heading back to Netflix in 2018, and a first look featuring two returning characters in the Marvel hero's comeback has been revealed.

EW has debuted the first photo of Luke Cage season 2, which features Luke (Mike Colter) and Misty Knight (Simone Missick) walking through a garage. While Luke's return won't be much of a shock, the photo reveals that Misty has taken one step closer to her comic book counterpart:

Misty lost her right arm in battle with Bakuto during The Defenders, and here, she's already gotten her bionic arm that the character is known for in the comics. According to EW, Marvel is remaining mum on just how Misty gets her new limb, but in the comics, she received a Tony Stark-designed arm following the loss of her limb. In the comics, Misty's arm gives her advanced abilities like energy blasts, but there are currently no details on the extent of her powers in season 2.
The Defenders left Misty recovering in a hospital, with Colleen Wing by her bedside in a Danny Rand-owned hospital.
A first look at Jessica Jones season 2 was also recently revealed.
Netflix and Marvel recently cast two comic book villains for Luke's second season, while Lucy Liu is confirmed to direct the season 2 premiere. For more on the series, read IGN's Luke Cage season 1 review and check out every character confirmed so far for season 2 below:
