It's that time of year again -- IGN is heading over to Seattle, Washington for PAX West 2017! We'll be providing tons of impressions and footage from Destiny, huge upcoming Switch games, and BioMutant, as well as rad-looking indies like Where the Water Tastes Like Wine and PUBG for Xbox One. Also, we're partnering with our pals at 2K for BioShock's 10th anniversary party!

But at the same time, video games can also be just the absolute dumbest. From setting bears on fire in Far Cry to the janky mess of a Bethesda game, let’s talk about why video games are dumb and why we love them for that.

IGN and 2K are partnering to celebrate the 10th anniversary of BioShock at PAX West 2017 by transforming Seattle into Rapture.
