Nintendo’s latest Switch Nindies Showcase featured 20 games announced, dated, or detailed for the Switch throughout the rest of 2017 and into early 2018.
IGN has already highlighted the reveals of Shovel Knight: King of Cards, Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition, and No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again.

Release Window/Exclusivity: Coming first to Switch in 2018
What It Is: Continuing the precedence for brutally difficult platforming of its predecessor, Super Meat Boy Forever follows Meat Boy and Bandage Girl on a quest to save Nugget from Dr. Fetus in an endless runner platformer. Team Meat originally revealed the game as in-development in 2014.
Release Window/Exclusivity: Launching in late 2017 with exclusive stages on both Switch and Nintendo 3DS
What It Is: Otherwise known as Hidden My Game By Mom Escape Room, this previous mobile game tasks players with finding their video games which, as the title helpfully reveals, has been hidden by the main character’s mother. Players work through a number of different rooms and often absurd situations to recover their games.
Release Window/Exclusivity: Exclusively on Switch in September
What It Is: Players take on the role of a golfer, solving most problems by hitting a golf ball both on and off the green, with eight different environments. In addition to traditional golf, disc golf, mini golf, and more like drone flights and geocaching will be included in the adventures.
Release Window/Exclusivity: Holiday 2017, featuring touch screen controls.
What It Is: A brand new rhythm action game featuring original music by DJ Koala and art from developer JonJon, Floor Kids features hundreds of moves to master across a number of dance spots. Floor Kids features both single and multiplayer options.
Release Window/Exclusivity: Launching first on Switch in September
What It Is: Reminiscent of classic arcade brawlers, Wulverblade throws players into 120 AD as the Roman Army takes control of southern Britannia. Featuring eight levels inspired by British history and native lore, Wulverblade will have players assume the role of Caradoc in a fight against the Romans.
Release Window/Exclusivity: Console exclusive this year
What It Is: Solve hours worth of puzzles while traversing bridges and create your own in this physics-based title.
Release Window/Exclusivity: Releasing for Switch this fall
What It Is: An R-Type-type shooter with a Monster Hunter twist, IGN previously played Earth Atlantis as this year’s BitSummit. Explore a sprawling underwater world filled with tough, massive bosses to overcome.
Release Window/Exclusivity: Early 2018 with a JoyCon co-op mode
What It Is: A community-driven online action game, Next-Up Hero, from the Scribblenauts creator’s new studio, has players reviving their friends’ characters as AI companions.
Release Window/Exclusivity: September 21

Release Window/Exclusivity: Launches first on Nintendo Switch this holiday season
What It Is: Play as one of several magical chefs, hunting down monsters and cooking them into new dishes to impress the game’s judges.
Release Window/Exclusivity: Console exclusive coming to Switch this winter
What It Is: This first-person shooter allows players to steal mass from other players and increase their own. In 4v4 combat, players hunt down opponents and alter their mass, which affects navigation through levels.
Release Window/Exclusivity: Coming first to Nintendo Switch this fall
What It Is: Play as a host of adorable animals competing on a reality TV series in this physics-based sports game, which includes free play with up to eight friends, as well as an adventure mode.

What It Is: A turn-based multiplayer portable board game set to be released next year.
Release Window/Exclusivity: Launching this holiday season
What It Is: From the developers of Trine comes a cooperative isometric dungeon crawler in which players blast away their enemies with up to three friends.
While not part of the Nindies Showcase today, publisher Raw Fury announced today that Kingdom: New Lands will be released on the Nintendo Switch on September 14, taking the place of the planned release of Kingdom: Two Crowns this year. Two Crowns is still planned to be released on the Switch following its announcement at the first Nindies Switch Showcase, but it will no longer come this year as "the vision grew larger" than the team's original plans, transforming it into a fully fledged title rather than an expansion.
