Adam Sandler, Netflix Extend Their Deal to Make 4 More Movies Together

The Ridiculous 6 and The Do-Over are Netflix's biggest movies.

Adam Sandler will continue making original movies for Netflix.

Netflix has announced an extension of its deal with Sandler to include an additional four movies. As with Sandler's previous projects for the streaming service — The Ridiculous 6, The Do-Over, and the upcoming Sandy Wexler — Sander's Happy Madison Productions will produce each film and they'll premiere exclusively on Netflix.

“We are thrilled at the opportunity to extend our partnership with Adam and his entire team at Happy Madison and keep the world laughing," said Ted Sarandos, Netflix chief content officer.

Sandler signed his first four-film deal with Netflix back in October 2014. Since then, both The Ridiculous 6 and The Do-Over have become the most successful movie releases ever for the company.

Sandler's next Netflix project Sandy Wexler will debut on April 14. The story follows Wexler, played by Sandler, who's a talent manger working on the fringes of show business in Los Angeles in the 1990s.
