Jason Bourne filmmaker Paul Greengrass will direct Ness, an adaptation of the graphic novel Torso by Brian Michael Bendis and Marc Andreyko.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Greengrass is in negotiations with Paramount about helming Ness. LA Confidential scribe Brian Helgeland wrote the screenplay for the film, which follows Eliot Ness as he hunts for a serial killer in Cleveland.
Ness was also originally a part of the group known as the Untouchables, who took down Al Capone.
Years ago, Pete's Dragon director David Lowery was attached to the Torso movie adaptation. And way before that, Gone Girl and Fight Club filmmaker David Fincher was heading up the Ness project.
Now this wouldn't be the first time Greengrass has been linked to a graphic novel film adaptation. He was set to direct Watchmen before Justice League's Zack Snyder took over.
