Dark Horse will debut new comics in the worlds of both Mass Effect and Dragon Age, as well as several other projects related to the BioWare franchises, the publisher revealed today.
Ahead of New York Comic-Con 2016, Dark Horse has announced the comic book series Mass Effect: Discovery, the first issue of which will be available in spring 2017. Discovery's story is by Mass Effect Andromeda creative director Mac Walers, lead writer John Dombrow, and Jeremy Barlow, a writer on the Mass Effect: Foundation comic series/ Barlow will write Discovery while Gabriel Guzmán is on board as artist for the series.
Dark Horse will also release Dragon Age: Knight Errant in 2017. with the first issue going on sale on May 10 of next year. Nunzio DeFilippis and Christina Weir will write Knight Errant, which will have art by Fernando Heinz Furukawa and covers by Sachin Teng Dragon Age Adult Coloring Book will go on sale February 8, 2017.
Mass Effect: Discovery is part of what Dark Horse is billing as the Mass Effect Andromeda Program, which, in addition to the Andromeda Galaxy-set Discovery, will also include the Mass Effect Adult Coloring Book, The Art of Mass Effect Andromeda, and Mass Effect Andromeda — The Poster Collection. The coloring book will be available on March 1, 2017, the Andromeda art book will be released on March 21, 2017, and the poster collection will be available for purchase in fall 2017.
A Dragon Age Adult Coloring Book will also be released by Dark Horse on February 8, 2017.

Mass Effect Andromeda is currently set for release in early 2017. New information about Mass Effect Andromeda is set to be released on N7 Day later this year. BioWare is also offering fans the chance to audition for a couple of Andromeda roles. Shortly after the latest Andromeda footage was unveiled, BioWare revealed that the main, playable characters in Andromeda are brother and sister.
