Bonnie Ross of Microsoft, Jason Rubin of Oculus, and VFX artist Guillaume Rocheron are the first confirmed speakers for the 2017 DICE summit in Las Vegas, NV.
Registration for DICE, which is being held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino February 21 through February 23, is open now.
Ross' session, "Stewards of a Sci-fi Universe" will cover "when to guide, when to guard and hold firm, when to evolve" a universe and the importance its community holds in "keeping a world relevant."
Rocheron will discuss the evolution of visual effects as a storytelling tool, and Rubin will moderate a "fireside chat" on the impact of virtual reality in the next generation of video games.
Last year's summit saw Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro give a talk on horror games and collaboration, Fallout 4's director on hype and announcing games too soon, and magician and entertainer Penn Jillette defending games as art.
Reduced rates are in effect for people who register for the summit before November 18. After that deadline, rates will go up.
