Ben Affleck has revealed the title for his upcoming solo Batman movie. Or, at least, its title for now.
As spotted by The Hollywood Reporter writes, during his interview with the Associated Press about The Accountant, Affleck confirmed he plans on calling his movie simply, The Batman.
"At least, that's what we're going with now," Affleck said after revealing the title. "I might change it," he added.
"We're working on the script, the script is going well. I'm really excited about it," Affleck continued, refraining from offering more details. The Batman is also the title of one of the dark knight's various animated series.
There’s still no official date set for the film, but Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes thinks the movie is “a year and a half out.”
Affleck recently teased that Deathstroke will be the main villain, with Joe Manganiello starring as the character. Manganiello took to Twitter to reveal the comics he’s reading to prepare for the role.
