Gary Oldman is looking forward to seeing J.K. Simmons handle the role of Commissioner Gordon in Justice League.
In an interview with Comicbook.com Oldman, who played Gordon in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, expressed his excitement for Simmons and seeing his different interpretation of the character.
"J.K Simmons doesn't need any advice from me," Oldman said. "He's a wonderful actor. I'm intrigued to see what he does with it."

Oldman then added that playing Commissioner Gordon in three films was a great experience for him and wishes Simmons "a lot of luck" with the role.

Though Gordon's role in Justice League is small, Simmons is expected to reprise his turn as Batman's ally in future DCEU films, including the solo Batman movie.
