Nintendo has confirmed it will once again forgo a traditional press conference at E3 2017.
The company shared the news at the end of its latest financial results briefing. "Again this year, we will not be hosting a large-scale press conference for institutional investors, analysts and the media," Nintendo said of its E3 plans.
With regard to what Nintendo has planned for this year's expo, the company didn't specify, only saying, "Nintendo of America will present further information on our plans at a later date." So far, we know that both Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Odyssey will appear at E3 2017.

Switch isn't the only new piece of gaming hardware Nintendo is launching this year. Just yesterday, the company announced a new entry in its family of portable systems, New Nintendo 2DS XL, which releases on July 28 in the US and June 15 in Australia/NZ.
