Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Patch Fixes a Lot of Bugs

Space bugs, squashed.

An update for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has brought a large number of fixes and tweaks to the game.

Several exploits have been fixed across 12 maps, and certain issues such as win streaks being ended early and spawning without a loadout in Custom matches should no longer occur. The full list of patch notes can be found on Reddit.

Infected has been updated so that Survivors earn more score / XP on kills, and all infected players will receive an assist point when a survival is killed. Infinity Ward is also promising new weapons in a future update.

Some issues in Zombies in Spaceland have been fixed, as well as a balance change which alters the Headcutter damage exploit against Alien.

There are also platform specific changes. On Xbox One, bugs to do with Private Parties and audio related crashes should be gone. On PC, mouse support has been added to the lobby member slide feature, and a bug where special characters in a username would cause stuttering for other players has been fixed.

In addition, some fixes and additions have been made to CODCaster, and support for MLG.tv has been implemented.

IGN's review of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare says it's a "generally fun but inessential shooter."
