What It's Like to Have Christmas Dinner at Hogwarts

"There's no experience like it."

Ever wonder what it would be like to have your annual Christmas dinner at Hogwarts? One fan did just that, and documented the entire thing.

Artist Destiny Blue recently attended a yearly event that hosts a dinner at the original Great Hall set at Warner Brothers' London studio (via Mashable). The event, which occurred on December 7 and 8, isn't necessarily the cheapest way to celebrate fandom, with tickets running £240 (~$304 USD) each. But according to Blue on her imgur account, "there's no experience like it."

The event sat between 10 and 12 at a table, serving them a three course meal. For an appetizer, the attendees had ham hock and broad bean terrine with pea puree and walnut bread. For the main course, they ate roast turkey with cranberry and sausage stuffing with cumin glazed carrots, Brussels sprouts, crispy roast potatoes, and rich gravy. There were also vegetarian options, for those so inclined.

As for Blue's favorite part of the evening, she told Mashable, "My favorite part was probably the Diagon Alley set, as it's the most immersive and you feel like you're actually 'there.'"
