Pokemon Go: Don't Miss Out on Free Incubators to Hatch New Pokemon

Pokémon GO stealth updated to the Johto Holiday Update from version 0.49.1 for Android and 1.19.0 for iOS on the 12th of December 2016.

• Professor Willow has discovered Togepi and Pichu hatching from Eggs! Trainers will have the opportunity to hatch these and several other Pokémon that were originally discovered in the Johto Region in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games.

Through December 29, 2016, 10:00 A.M. PST, you’ll find limited edition Pikachu all over the world. These Pikachu will be wearing a festive hat to celebrate the season.

UPDATE: According to a new blog post from Niantic, starting December 25th through January 3rd, Pokestops will award one free single-use Incubator each day after spinning your first disc. In addition, eggs found during this window have an increased chance of hatching the new pokemon Togepi, Igglybuff, Cleffa, Smoochum, Elekid, Pichu, and Magby. The Santa Hat Pikachu will also extend to this time, and have increased chances of appearing.

Another new update from December 30th through January 8th involves increased chances to find the starter pokemon and their evolutions in the wild - including Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and their evolved forms. To help with this, Lure Modules will now last 60 minutes, up from 30.
