It probably takes loads of work for Batman to custom-make all his Batarangs, Bat signals and other egotistically named Bat-aphernalia. Luckily, Samsung has done ol' Bruce a solid this time by making its own Batman-themed Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone.
Styled after (and released in honour of) the now three year-old Injustice: Gods Among Us, the manufacturer's flagship phone now comes in black and gold with Batman livery.
Most territories' versions will include the phone (pre-installed with Batman wallpapers and Injustice), a Batman-themed hardcase, a Samsung Gear VR headset and an actual gold Batarang, presumably for fending off nerdy muggers.
Here's an official, and almost Nolan-esque, unboxing:
The handset will made available in early June, but only in some select territories; so far only China, Singapore, Korea, Latin America and Russia.
But, as Batman taught us, there's always a glimmer of hope in the darkness - Samsung says in its press release that other territories will be announced soon. I can't help but worry that if it doesn't come to their region, some supervillains are about to be created.
