ReCore Definitive Edition Outed by Microsoft Store

The fifth corebot T8-NK will finally be added to the game.

A ReCore definitive edition will be released later this month for Xbox One according to a Microsoft Store listing, promising to add content originally teased when the game first debuted.

Listed for $19.99 and an August 29 release date, ReCore Definitive Edition will feature HDR support and offer enhanced visuals on the Xbox One X when the upcoming system is released later this year. The new edition of the Comcept and Armature Studio-produced action game will feature a new "Eye of Obsidian" adventure, as well as the fifth Corebot frame T8-NK, a Corebot featured on the original game's box art but has yet to be made available in the base game.

IGN has reached out to Microsoft for comment on how players who have already purchased ReCore will be able to access T8-NK and the new story content.

When the original game was released, IGN gave ReCore a 7.3, describing it as "a new-looking game with a charming, much older-feeling soul."

A tease of ReCore's five Corebots before the game's release.

First revealed at E3 2015, ReCore came to the Xbox One and PC in 2016, and following its launch, Microsoft made a free trial of the game available for those looking to dive into the new franchise.
