Pokemon Go: Niantic Working to Resolve Premiere Ball Bug

Multi Ball!

In the wake of the Legendary raid events, Niantic is looking to fix a bug which occurs while trying to catch raid Pokemon.

The Premier Ball bug is an issue where a Raid Boss will always break out of the last Premier Ball granted to a player for that raid. This is especially frustrating when limited time Legendaries such as Zapdos are currently available. The fix Niantic is currently implementing for this bug is to simply give players an extra Premiere Ball.

Details on the the Pikachu Outbreak event in Japan have also been revealed. The event will be hosted by The Pokemon Company at Red Brick Park and Cup Noodle Museum Park in Yokohama. Red Brick Park will host a plethora of Kanto region Pokemon, while Cup Noodle Museum park will see trainers finding more monsters from the Johto region.

Additionally, both parks will feature some Pokemon that are hard to find in Japan, including Europe's exclusive Mr. Mime, and will offer 2km eggs, which may hold some surprises.

The Pikachu Outbreak event will run daily during the hours of 10 am to 6 pm JST from August 9 to August 15, and, unlike the troubled Pokemon Go Fest, will be completely free.
