Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be available in two special editions - Prince's Edition, and King's Edition - and both editions will come with bundled with an as-yet-unspecified season pass.
Images depicting the special edition contents popped up briefly on publisher's Bandai Namco's official Twitter account, before being pulled a short time later without explanation.
The Prince's Edition looks as though it'll ship with a physical copy of the game, an "exclusive" steelbook case and Making Of Blu-ray disc, plus a season pass.
Precisely what the pass will include remains to be seen, although director Akihiro Hino has previously clarified Ni No Kuni II will not feature any multiplayer content.
The King's Edition comes with all the contents of the Prince's Edition, plus an 148-page artbook, a vinyl record, and a 20cm tall Evolution of a King diorama figurine that also doubles as a music box to play Ni No Kuni II's main theme.
Availability and prices for the special editions have not yet been released, but given the PEGI information on the cover shown in the images, it looks as though it's at least coming to Europe.
The RPG sequel - which was first revealed during 2015's PlayStation Experience - was originally scheduled to release in November. However, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom was recently pushed back to January 19, 2018.
