Voltron Legendary Defender Season 3 Announced

Prince Lotor's voice was also teased.

DreamWorks has confirmed Voltron Legendary Defender is returning for a new season later this year.

The announcement was made by executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos during a WonderCon Panel for the show. However, there are no details as to when exactly Season 3 will premiere.

For those lucky enough to attend the WonderCon panel, fans were treated to an in-depth discussion about the second season, which ended a few months ago. Panelists included Jeremy Shada (Lance), Josh Keaton (Shiro), Tyler Labine (Hunk), Bex Taylor-Klaus (Pidge), and Kimberly Brooks (Allura), as well as executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos, co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery, and story editor Tim Hedrick.

DreamWorks also teased the voice of Prince Lotor, which Shada humorously confessed "is very soothing….even dreamy."
