Though many were surprised when Xbox One X preorders did not go live during E3, Microsoft has yet another chance to (pre) deliver the goods. Microsoft's Xbox Live Show happens on Sunday, August 20 at 12 noon PST, two days before Gamescom officialy kicks off.
We learned from E3 that the Xbox One X will be released on November 7 and it will be priced at $499. With the Xbox One X release now less than 3 months away, and Gamescom being one of the last of the major gaming expos before launch, there's a strong chance preorders may be announced at the show.
Bookmark these preorder pages and check back when Microsoft's Gamescom conference commences. Amazon has confirmed with us that this will be their official Xbox One X preorder page.

The release of the Nintendo Switch reminded us that demand can, and often will, exceed supply — especially in the case of a brand new console. Simply put? Pre-ordering a console as soon as it's announced guarantees a launch day pickup. Keep in mind that you are not charged at all until the item ships, and you can cancel at any time with no penalty.
Pre-order now. Think later. If the Xbox One X ships enough to satisfy demand, or if you decide you aren't impressed with the console, you can cancel your order at any time. If, however, the Xbox One X has a limited initial run, you’ll be glad you placed your order when you did.
Microsoft has stated that there will be enhanced versions of upcoming games optimized to take advantage of Xbox One X's power. Here's the current list we gleaned from E3.
If you plan to upgrade to the Xbox One X, you might as well trade in your then-obsolete Xbox One. As a rule of thumb, choose the vendor that offers the best trade-in value and gives you usable currency. Amazon, for example, has pricing competitive to Gamestop and you get back an Amazon gift card that can be used sitewide, not just for games.
If you're going to plunk down the cash for an Xbox One X, you better be able to take advantage of its power. The Xbox One X will be the first console to support both 4K Blu-ray movies and 4K HDR gaming. It isn't cheap, so let's give your wallet a little break and shop around for TV deals that can save you as much as the cost of the Xbox One X itself.
Up to $500 Dell eGift Cards with Samsung, LG, Sony, and Vizio 4K TVs
Far and away the most consistent source of TV deals, ranging from the cheapest 4K TVs to the top-rated fully-featured primo sets. The only caveat is that the discount is usually in the form of a massive Dell eGift card that carries a 90-day expiration. Fortunately, Dell doesn't just sell computers and monitors. They sell electronics, gaming consoles, VR headsets, video games, and all kinds of other stuff. And this gift card works on it all.

Best Buy's Weekly TV Promo Page
Best Buy's TV deal page updates every week, on Sunday. Although most of their TVs are non-deals (regular price), some of the TVs on sale can be some of the lowest across the net. This would be a good page to bookmark when you're TV hunting.

Auctions from eBay's Daily Deal page work differently from your typical eBay auction. All of these deals are "Buy It Now" only and vendors have been screened and vetted by eBay. Most have tens if not hundreds of thousands of reviews with 98%+ feedback. Some of the TV deals here are the best you'll find, ever. Just make sure you read the fine print.
