The fourth playable race, the Skaven, will be part of Total War: Warhammer 2 when it releases next month.
The Skaven join the High Elves, Dark Elves and Lizardmen, already announced for the game.
The Ratmen, as they are sometimes known, are led by warlord Queek Headtaker and Lord Skrolk, and are a "highly numerous species who inhabit vast subterranean lairs," coming to the surface to "spread pestilence and mayhem."
Total War: Warhammer 2 was announced back in March, with three of the four races revealed as part of the announcement. Players who own the original Total War: Warhammer will receive a huge map combining areas from the old and the new games.
We got a chance to preview Total War: Warhammer 2 at E3 2017. We found it really scratches an itch for people who love the vastness of tabletop gaming, but want the cinematics and control afforded by a computer game.
Total War: Warhammer 2 launches officially on September 28.
