Nintendo has released a new update for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which includes some fixes for the game's Master Mode as well as new feature that will reward players items for visiting the Switch's news feed.
These items will be distributed to players that launch the game from an upcoming news channel titled "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Tips from the Wild". No other info on the channel has been given at this time, other than the fact that players can earn items from launching via the posts.
According to the update page, some items may be unobtainable depending on your location and progress through the game. The channel is expected to open on August 9. These giveaways will presumably not apply to the Wii U version of the game. To read the full 1.3.1 patch notes, check out Nintendo's official update page.
