Photorealistic GTA 5 Mod Can (Probably) Run on Your PC

No GPU upgrade necessary.

Mods that make Grand Theft Auto 5 even prettier than it already is have been around for a long time, but I’ve never seen anything quite like this one. NaturalVision Remastered is a graphics overhaul mod that aims to make Los Santos look more like the real world, and the results are pretty incredible.

Here’s a video made by mod creator Razed and Denis Sitarski showing NaturalVision Remastered in action:

It’s an impressive transformation, made even more impressive by the fact that NaturalVision will supposedly barely impact your game performance. It does this by changing GTA’s lighting, weather effects, color tone, shaders, and other settings to make it look more natural without forcing you to buy a new GPU.

The mod page says that “Over 1200 hours were spent working on the Remastered update over the course of six months.” That work has clearly paid off, and has made the visual upgrade available to pretty much anyone who can already run the game.

You can get all the details about NaturalVision Remastered and download it right here. The song in the trailer is called Changing Colors by Ramesh and Emeen, and can be found on YouTube, iTunes, or Spotify.
