Women be choppin'...again.
Netflix has renewed its wrestling comedy GLOWfor a second season.
The second season of GLOW will span ten episodes, and continue the story of Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie) and a troupe of other performers who help launch an all-women wrestling TV show in 1985. We called GLOW "fundamentally fun and effortlessly engaging" in our review of the first season.
GLOW is created by Liz Flahive (Homeland, Nurse Jackie) and Carly Mensch (Nurse Jackie, Orange Is The New Black, Weeds) and stars Brie, Betty Gilpin and Marc Maron, among a group of other badass ladies.
