List of Easter Eggs in Agents of Mayhem

Tons of Easter Eggs and References can be found in Agents of Mayhem. The game loves to poke fun at pop culture and there are plenty of nods to other popular videos games. And there are plenty of Saints Row references too!

Agents of Mayhem is set up to be a spin-off of the Saints Row series. After the alternate ending of the Gat Out of Hell DLC for Saints Row IV, an alternate version of Earth was created. Agents of Mayhem is this universe. As one would expect, the two series share a lot of connections that help bridge the two games.

• Three characters from the Saints Row series return as playable characters in Agents of Mayhem. Pierce Washington returns as Kingpin, Oleg Kirrlov returns as Yeti, and Gat returns as... Gat.
• Purple is the color of the 3rd Street Saints gang. Agents of Mayhem uses an absurd amount of purple.
• The Agents of Mayhem emblem is very similar to the Saints Row emblem.

• Ultor is the major corporation that plays a significant role in the Saints Row series. In Agents of Mayhem, the corporation funds MAYHEM.
• Kingpin's cutscene intro features his unification of the gangs of Stillwater, the main location of the first two Saints Row games.
• In the same intro, the Vice Kings from the original Saints Row make a return. Recognizable faces include Anthony Green, Angelo Lopez, Freckle B, Joseph Price, and Tanya.
• Yeti and Kingpin can be seen playing chess on the ARK. In Saints Row The Third, the two are constantly playing chess together.

• If you play as Gat during the boss fight in Press X to Object, Gat will recall dating an Aisha in a different life. In the early Saints Row games, Gat is indeed dating an Aisha.
• Morningstar is a gang from the third and fourth Saints Row games. In Agents of Mayhem, Morningstar is the main antagonist and the leader of LEGION.
• Loa Dust is the recreational narcotic mentioned in the Special Investigation: Oni mission. Loa Dust is also the drug used and sold by the Samedi in Saints Row 2.
• In the alternate ending of the Gat Out of Hell DLC for Saints Row IV, Persephone is captured and referenced as Brimstone. Gat is on his way to interroagte her.

• Inside the ARK, head into Relic's shop and look through the window in the back. There you'll see the angel statue typically seen in the Saints Hideout. Interact with it and Relic will mention that maybe Persephone would keep it in her collection if she was more "Saintly" in her ways.
• Also on the ARK, look at the table in Quartermile's shop to find a flier for the Stillwater Sharks, a sports team from the Saints Row series.
• To the left of Gremlin's R+D Lab is a memorial for fallen agents. While most of the names on the scrolling list feature made up names, some are actually names of developers of the game. There are even a few references to the Saints Row games, like Odekar referencing Asha Odekar from Saints Row IV.
• In Operation: Good Cop, Bad Bot, Gat will be tasked with dealing with an illegal parking. If you look at the side of the truck, you'll see a decal of the Devil from the Gat Out of Hell DLC for Saints Row IV.
• Several agents have skins that reference the Saints Row series. Hollywood has his purple Stillwater Original costume.

Agents of Mayhem has a very cool and pretty random Easter Egg that you can find on the ARK. Head over to the Gremlin's R+D Lab and interact with the pipe in the corner to activate the vintage cartoon mode.

For about 30 seconds, everything goes black and white and everyone on the ARK starts to bop up and down to the classic music. If this looks similar to anything, you may be thinking about the classic Steamboat Willie cartoon. The 1928 short film featured an early Mickey Mouse that would bop to the tune of his own whistle.

That's really all there is to it, but it's still awesome to see all the agents dance with this out of the way secret.

Get in the ARK and head to Gremlin's R+D Lab. Take a look at the front desk and you should see a paper taped to the front. On it is drawn a crowbar with the words "Please return my crowbar" written and signed by Gordon.

Gordon Freeman is the playable character in the Half-Life series and his iconic crowbar is his original weapon.

Everyone remembers the space sphere, right? Check out the description for the Moon Beam, an unlockable piece of Gremlin Tech:

"Agent can charge up and call down a tactical laser from SPAAAACE."

At the end of Portal 2, the space sphere can be seen (and heard) screaming SPAAAACE in the vast darkness of space.

Take a look at the passive Gadgets for Braddock. The "Dead Med Redemption" gadget is a nod to Rockstar's western.

The intro to Operation: Street Fight features Braddock and Hauser going head to head in an opposing heads graphic that is very similar to those seen in Street Fighter 2.

Apocalypse Now is the name of a Core Upgrade for Braddock. This is a direct reference to the 1979 film of the same name. Not convinced? The quote for the core upgrade says "smells like victory."

As you play through Operation: Raging Arrow with Rama, you'll eventually find yourself on the top of a building. At the end of the mission you're tasked with retrieving data from a terminal for an unknown reason. Not knowing what the information is for, Rama asks "So, what is this, huh?" Babylon's bathroom schedule? The name of his childhood sled?"

Anyone who has seen Citizen Kane will know that the name of Citizen Kane's childhood sled is an important plot point in the film.

Several citizens of Seoul can be caught dancing to the ultra popular Gangnam Style, a song released by Psy. The song was released back in 2012 and has ammased nearly 3 billion views on its music video on YouTube.
